For problems with markdown syntax, you need:

PlugVim: Plug 'nvim-treesitter/nvim-treesitter', {'do': ':TSUpdate'}

Install by typing in the command line: :TSInstall markdown

If you have problems with this plugin displaying the syntax or if you are not comfortable with this plugin, uninstall it by manually deleting it in the folder:

usr/local/lib64/nevim/parser/markdown.so
